Very cute, food tastes good - but had dirty dishes and roaches. In fairness, I'll say two friends have eaten there at least once a month for over a year and enjoy it. However I just talked to some other people today who have also had the dirty dish and roach problem on their visits. That's why I decided to write a review. The restaurant looks clean and the food tastes great. Yesterday was only my second visit to the restaurant. Here's the problems: 1. The glass they brought out my ice tea in had a big lipstick print on one side from a previous customer. They got me a new glass after I pointed it out. 2. While sitting in a booth a cockroach ran up the side of the wall and sat there looking at us while were were having our salad. Two waitresses eventually squashed the roach with a napkin (after a little chase). 3. About ten minutes later a cockroach dropped out of the chandelier at our table and landed directly in the bread basket. (Seriously.) Then it sat there twitching its antennas looking at us. I called the waitress over and gave her the basket with the roach still in it. She took the basket and left, saying "they had just sprayed for bugs the day before and maybe they should have closed today." (No kidding.) A few minutes later she came back out and said, "I think our manager might go ahead and comp your meal." Now one else ever came to our table - certainly not the manager - so finally we got up and left. While we were standing outside the window, we saw more cockroaches on the inside of the restaurant glass. I don't won't to bash a small business, but after hearing other people have had this same problem I thought potential customers should at least know about this before they visit. It's a shame, because the place is really cute.

I love their Italian nachos! Almost everything they have is tasty and reasonably priced.

So the first time I was forced to go to this very, well, girl oriented restaurant, a man in a big orange suit came in and threatened to strip for a woman's 50th birthday. Scary stuff. Shortly after the traumatic experience, I spotted another straight looking guy and gave him a manly fist pump, to possibly retain some manliness in the otherwise shabby chic chandelier ridden Nikkellette's. The food is excellent, don't get me wrong; however, as a guy, I felt slightly out of place.

Don't serve lunch if you don't have staff to help customers. After 10 minutes of sitting and waiting patiently, we left. Not one person came by- not one- wow...won't be back.

I love Nikkelettes Cafe! It's tucked back off May Ave. and known more for their fabulous ribbon cakes they make through their bakery (Raspberries and Cream), but the cafe is delicious. It's kind of girly and has a tea party like feel too it. I went with my mom and sister on a chilly afternoon. We didn't see any on the menu but asked if they had any soup. I can't remember the name (maybe Madeline Soup?) but our waitress quickly asked if we wanted a sample to try. It was a delicious creamy tomato based chicken noodle soup. Amazing. We all ordered a cup of soup and got 2 chicken pecan salads to share between the three of us. A great place for lunch!

This place had one of the best burgers in Oklahoma City. You wouldn't think so, but definitely give it a try. Also, their key lime bars are some of the best I've ever had in my life. If your masculinity is threatened by this place, by all means please go to one of the 39487 sports-themed crap-tastic bars in town and leave us girls to some badass food. Your fragility isn't needed here.

I've been going to Nikkellette's since 2006 and absolutely adore this restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu is the California chicken sandwich. I'm definitely a texture person when it comes to food, and this sandwich has all the right flavors and textures with the mushrooms, avocado and the homemade honey mustard. I also always order dessert, the ribbon cake. For my latest visit, I decided to try the dessert special which was a strawberry shortcake. I'm so glad I did, it was so delicious!! And don't forget about the raspberry tea. I love how they don't sweeten it, so you can sweeten it to your hearts desire! Everyone I bring here can't believe they haven't heard of this place. I've only been for lunch, and a few times bought cakes for various showers, but everyone raves about it. If you're looking for a quaint tea party atmosphere with your ladies, this is your spot!

Met some friends there today for the first time. It was a great atmosphere and the food was good. Dessert was the best!

My friend recommend we go to this place for her birthday lunch, I had never heard of it but I'm always down for trying new places! We went on a Saturday so it was a little crowded but we were seated right away. As a warning to guys - this place is very girly. Cute chandeliers above each table, cutesy decor, etc. But absolutely perfect for a lunch date with a group of girls! Something I thought was funny was that we had a male waiter, I figured no guys work there! However I'm not surprised they gave the 20-something year old waiter to the 20-something year old group of girls. Not that we minded; he was super nice with great service! I think he anticipated there would be a little bit of a wait for our food because he brought us a free basket of bread as an appetizer. From sweet bread to rolls, every type of bread in there was delicious. I love carbs too much. I ordered the Turkey Tuscany for my entree and it came with homemade baked potato chips. It was all very good delicious and filling! All my friends loved what they got too! We didn't have room for dessert, but we saw some being brought out and it looked great. It was 9-10 dollars for the entree, which ended up being my total bill since he gave us the appetizer for free and didn't charge us for our drinks. So between this and our waiter's good service, we gave him a pretty good tip. Such a fun and cute place to go, I definitely would recommend it! But leave the husbands/boyfriends at home unless they are willing to turn in their "man card" in for a little bit ;)

This is a funky girly little place. Service is good but there is a little bit of snootiness. Once I ordered the kitchen sink salad. I do not recommend it. I knew when I ordered it I was taking a chance so only I am to blame. It was exactly as described. Very odd combination of ingredients that did not suit me. The chicken quesadilla is good and the Italian Nachos are different. The ribbon cake for dessert is a must.

Horrible service! Rude staff. And the cakes are overpriced Cool Whip covered crap decorated with flowers to cover the shoddy baking. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies. The owners are notorious for overcharging, and shady business. Don't eat, buy or recommend to anyone!
